Sketching & Creative Etiquette

Express Yourself with Qerios Sketches

The Qerios sketching tool is designed to bring your thoughts to life. Whether you are illustrating an answer, responding to a DM, or just doodling, our freehand canvas allows you to use brushes, colors, and opacity controls to express your unique voice.

Creative Freedom: We believe art is a powerful form of communication. When you sketch on Qerios, you are adding a personal touch to your presence on the platform.

Sketching Guidelines

To ensure that sketching remains a positive experience for everyone, please adhere to these creative boundaries:

• Originality: Share your own creations. While inspiration is welcome, do not plagiarize or claim others' artwork as your own.
• Appropriate Content: Like all content on Qerios, sketches are subject to our Community Guidelines. Do not use the sketching tool to create content that is sexually explicit, hateful, violent, or promotes illegal activities.
• Respectful Imagery: Avoid using the canvas to target, harass, or demean other users. Even in sketch form, bullying is strictly prohibited.
• Responsible Sharing: Remember that sketches you publish are public. If you are sharing a sketch in a public feed, ensure it aligns with the tone and safety standards of our community.

Feature Best Practices

• Use the Tools: Take advantage of the pressure-sensitive brush, blur controls, and color picker to refine your work.
• Watermarks: All published sketches receive an automatic watermark. This protects your work and helps identify it as Qerios content.
• Drafts: Use your private gallery to save works-in-progress. You don’t have to publish everything you draw.

Moderation & Reporting

Our AI moderation systems are trained to detect harmful content within images as well as text. If you come across a sketch that violates our policies, you can report it using the same reporting flow you would use for any other post. We take graphic or non-consensual imagery in sketches very seriously.
